Tee Off This Summer at Langston Golf Course
The long awaiting golfing season is here, and Langston Golf Course & Driving Range should be at the top of your “must golf” list for the summer.
Not only is the course exceptionally well-kept and easy to get to at the end of DC Street Car Line, it’s one of the few in the area with some important cultural significance. The course is named for the first African American elected to public office, John Mercer Langston, and the facility continues to honor Mr. Langston with youth and family outreach programs in the region. That’s certainly a cause that is worthy of support. Not to mention that golfing is one of the easier sports to participate in while soaking up the gorgeous summer sun and maintaining a safe social distance.
The popular Langston Grille is still closed due to the pandemic, but all of the other amenities at the course like the driving range and pro shop are ready to serve you. Visit the website to schedule a tee time, or simply stop out to take advantage of the 30+ stall range.
