‘Tis the Season for Ice Skating at the National Sculpture Garden
Ice Skating at the National Sculpture Garden is happening now through March 6, so if you love winter and outdoor activities, you have to stop by for a lap around the ice! You’ll get to skate around the smooth ice for a bit as you enjoy the lovely outdoor scenery surrounding you. They also offer classes for those wanting to brush up on their skating and learn a few new tricks. They have group lessons for both children and adults and private lessons for those who prefer one-on-one with the instructor. The prices for the lessons vary, but you can view their package deals on their website.
Once you finish skating, check out the Pavilion Cafe right next door. You can order sandwiches, soups, coffee, and all your favorite cafe items from there to warm up after a day spent outdoors on the ice. Keep in mind if the weather is severe enough, such as rain or perhaps a snowstorm, the rink will be closed for the day.
